We at DanceWell are so grateful for every dancer who has brought joy, laughter, and energy to our studio.
This page celebrates the wonderful people who have been part of our DanceWell family. Their bright spirits, beautiful dancing, and the special memories we shared on the floor continue to warm us and inspire us every day.
Though they are no longer with us, their love of dance lives on in our community — forever dancing.
How to Add a Dancer to Our Community Remembrance
Every dancer who has touched our DanceWell community is safe in our memories. This page is a living tribute filled with stories, smiles, and memories of those who are no longer with us but whose spirit continues to dance on. It’s a work in progress, just a beginning and will improve over time. Would you like to add someone special? We welcome submissions from family, friends, students, and fellow dancers.
What to Send Us
Include as much info as you can (the more the better, but even a little is wonderful):
- Full name of the dancer and dates or year of passing.
- A short note or memory, a fave photo (or a few) — we love candid shots from lessons, parties, or events
- Optional: birth year

Please put something like “Memories Page Submission” in the subject line so I see it right away.
I’ll review, reach out if I need any additional details, and add it to the page. This is a living page that grows over time.
Ramey Danielson (1946-July 2026)
Ramey brought boundless energy to everything he did. An avid scuba diver, golfer, pickleball player, skier, hiker, dancer, traveler, gardener, and volunteer, he lived life with enthusiasm and joy. One of the coolest and kindest guys around, he is deeply missed by the entire ballroom dance community.
Kristina (Tina) Inclan (July 2026)
Tina was a shining star in our community and in the many dance families she and Ernie created together. Her energy, warmth, and love for dancing touched many many dancers over the years. Whether on the floor or behind the scenes, she brought joy and a sense of belonging to everyone around her.
She is deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit lives on in all the dance families she helped build.
Naomi Flower (April 2026)
Naomi was a fairly new member of the DanceWell community, her bright smile and joyful love for dancing lighting up the floor every time she joined us. Learning new steps or dancing with her husband, she brought warmth and happiness to everyone around her.
She is deeply missed, but her spirit continues to dance on in our hearts and on our dance floor.
Liz Davidson (1955-2025)
Liz joined our group in early 2000’s and visited on and off for many years. A beautiful soft voice and lovely dancer –and a fun friend
Dan (Charles) Timmons (June 2024)
Dan was a legend in Portland’s Argentine Tango and Swango community. A lifelong ballroom dancer and longtime member of the Laurelhurst Dance Club, he brought passion, elegance, and fun to every dance floor.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy Campagna, and by all the dancers whose lives he touched over the years.
Martha Karvonen (2023)
Martha was a beautiful soul whose dedication to the Parkrose Ballroom was outstanding. She cared for the building, helped us all with whatever/whenever and has been terribly missed. Her vision for the ballroom has uplifted everyone who enters the building.
Rod Roth & Kim Alford Roth (2020)
Rod and Kim were beloved pillars of the DanceWell community for many years. They first met on our dance floor, fell in love, and built a beautiful life together through dancing.
Together, their warmth, dedication, and shared passion for dance touched everyone around them.
They passed within 3 months of each other and are still missed, but their love story and lasting support live on at DanceWell.
Sandra (Sandy) Sallee (1939-2015)
Sandy was a beautiful, loving and caring person.
We were all blessed to have known her and her giving spirit is still cherished in our little dance community. May she dance through eternity.
