No partner is needed for any DanceWell classes or parties except for our 'Couples Only' class. Unless otherwise listed all classes are 55-minutes long. We encourage repetition of each month's class material to fully master the movement, patterns and concepts of all our classes. And we hope you will enjoy your time with us!
Entry Level Classes are: Newcomer's 'INTRO , BASIC' or 'COUPLES' classes. Our Intro to Partner Dance series lasts 4 months and is slower-paced for those who have never danced before. Basic and Couples classes are faster-paced. All three are great classes to learn fundamentals and/or to review dances. BASIC classes should be repeated 2x to complete the material. INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED classes can be repeated indefinitely, always new material. PREREQUISITES for class levels are either the previous class level or Instructor approval. WORKSHOPS: Workshops break down and apply technique into one dance -- whether footwork, connection or movement skills -- within the framework of simple patterns.
