Group classes are a great way to get into dancing and we have tons of classes going on every month! All DanceWell GROUP CLASS 'SERIES' begin the first week of a new month. Each 'SERIES' is 4-weeks long and begins the first day of a month. (For example: in January 4 weeks of BEGINNING WALTZ; then in February 4 weeks of BEYOND BEGINNING WALTZ; in March 4 weeks of INTERMEDIATE WALTZ, etc.) NOTE: Depending on the month and studio closings especially around the holidays, we may at times offer 2-Week or 3-Week or 5-Week Series classes and those prices are pro-rated. Each week you will review material previously taught and then build on what was learned. Since a "lesson" or a "dance class" does not make body memory, practice time is built in to each class series. For the maximum enjoyment of classes for you and your fellow classmates, it's best to take the right level class. For recommendations and prerequisites for all classes except BEGINNERS click here: Recommendations for Group Class Levels You can prepay a 4-week SERIES or you can pay a daily Drop-in Fee. Prepay means that on the first night of class you will pay for all 4 classes by cash, check, VISA or MASTERCARD. Drop-in means you can drop in without any commitment. You just come in that day, take that class and go for it. Class Costs Classes fill up quickly so best to pre-register by email or phone to be sure you have a spot in the class. Our goal is to help students learn fundamentals, patterns, and partnering skills in a friendly and fun setting. Classes maintain a medium pace throughout and if there's any doubt, the instructors will take the time to repeat materials so you get it right. If you feel you are dropping behind or may be developing 'bad habits', our popular Private Lesson program is available to work on a specific step or to improve your dancing so you can move like a Pro in no time.Class Level Recommendations & Progression for DancersBEGINNING: FIRST MONTH (Entry Level) Learn timing, footwork, and partnering for your chosen dance each month.
